Simplifying Sarah

I need some advice for what to do with my wedding cards!! After over a year and a half of being in a box, they need something done with them. Some ideas…

1. Punch them into confetti and shape it into a “W” and frame it. I saw this somewhere online, it looks cool and time consuming!
2. Slice the cards into strips and weave them and mount it onto canvas. Time consuming, but I bet it would look very abstract.
3. Mount on a large frame in layers, and possibly mount “W” initial cake topper in the center.
4. Cut into squares, mount over matting of photo frames with pictures of us in the centers.

You may vote, now.

I don’t want to talk about You like You’re not in the room
I want to look right at You I want to sing right to You
I believe that You are listening
I believe that You move at the sound of my voice
Give me dove’s eyes
Give me undistracted devotion for only You

Legume, Peanut, Pumpkin, Lima Bean… all nicknames for a tiny baby that never had a chance to grow… thinking of Peanut Warner as a nickname is really… weird. I don’t know if it would be a boy or a girl, but I know it was a baby. I’d like to think of “Peanut” as a girl, as Emi… whose name in Japanese means blessing, favor and beautiful. I like to think she is favored by God and in heaven. October 19th will never be the same.

Baby Emi, I’m so sorry I never got to meet you, but I’m so glad you’re with Jesus.

This picture says it better than I ever could.

(Maybe I’ll use a few words…

We’re going to Larry & Jess’ wedding today. Yay! I’m really excited for this.

We got a new car… a 2003 ford focus. this is a picture of one, but not of ours. We didn’t take a picture. Same color gold though…

Adam moved back to PA almost two weeks ago… he’s doing really well there! We miss him being nearby, but having the house to ourselves has really hit the “reset” button on our marriage! Newlyweds all over again :-).

Thats all :-).

I’ve recently read Transforming Church in Rural America, and have a review posted on my book review site. If you enjoy reading free books, check out! Click on the picture or on the link above to check it out!!

Leave a comment on either site, if you are interested in receiving a free copy! When I post my next review, I’ll randomly select one person to send my copy, at no cost to you!

These are some things that make me smile and bring me daily joy. I hope you enJOY them too!

Anything art… Painting (even though I’m not very good), going to museums, graphic design… I love it.

The beach… I love digging my toes into warm sand, going into the ocean (as long as I don’t see jelly fish), and collecting sea shells…

Play!!! A huge portion of my job is playing with toddlers- afterall, it’s the best way for them to learn things! I even love to play with my dog.

Well there you go… three things that make me smile. Maybe more next Saturday.

When the world says “Nope, not possible!” God says “Oh yeah, just watch me move…” sometimes I like to think of God as being a dude and being like ‘You think it’s impossible? Lemme see about this doubt…’ No utilities shut off, bill is paid (only $60 to pay this week), other bills are either paid or handled for this week, and just going to repay tithe next week. God is so good!
